3, 2, 1 Launched.

The end of May marks 5 months since Scottish Kings made its debut. What an exhilarating time it has been! The 3+ years spent in recipe and brand development has proven worthwhile again and again - today Scottish Kings won its fourth Gold Medal, this time from the SIP Awards: International Spirits Competition.

The Sip Awards is an international blind tasting competition, and the only one of its kind that includes non-industry consumers on the judging panel. They describe Gold medal winners as “spirits that demonstrate a noteworthy performance in a double blind tasting with a diverse consumer panel. With scores in the upper division, Gold medal spirits are strongly recommended.”

Strongly recommended! We’ll take it.

In other post-launch news, Scottish Kings has received a steady stream of praise and intrigue in the press. Most recently, Boulder Weekly wrote a feature about the founding and development of Scottish Kings, “a gin made with an eye toward balance using water from the esteemed Highlands region of Scotland, local herbs and choice citrus imports”. We are honored and grateful for the growing interest in Scottish Kings, and we are eager for what’s ahead.

Fair winds, travelers.
